Documentary-Style Photography offers a comfortable way to record this special time in your life. Spend an hour or two with your family, your partner, best friends or maybe you deserve your own photos! Each session will be relaxed, fun, and natural in a location that you all enjoy. No props, no bright lights and no posing. Photography sessions last approximately one to two hours, giving us plenty of time to capture photos of the real connections you share.

SESSION EXPERIENCE

We schedule a time and place to meet. I usually arrive a little early to check the location, the weather and the light. When you arrive, we’ll chat for a few minutes, take a short tour of the area and then you and your family are off to explore and play. I’ll make suggestions as I see lighting change or the perfect spot appears.
SESSION LENGTH
—
Sessions are 1 to 2 hours. Your experience should be as stress-free as possible, without time constraints. Feel free to take a break, get a drink or soothe a little one. If the light is amazing, we may stay longer. If the kids are getting antsy or tired, we’ll wrap it up quickly.
WHAT TO WEAR
—
If you like bright clothes, wear them. If you prefer muted tones, that’s fine too. It helps to wear coordinating colors but not exact matches. Take a look at the photo gallery to see what other families have chosen. Be comfortable, be safe. We’re outside, playing on the playground or if we’re hiking around the desert, no flip-flops!
